Patrick Spins is a UK‑licensed online casino that launched in 2018. It positions itself as a “family‑friendly” platform, offering a curated mix of slots, table games, and live dealer experiences. The name is a nod to the famous “Patrick” brand that has a long history in the UK gambling scene. If you’re new to the site, the first thing you’ll notice is the straightforward navigation: a top‑bar menu, a “Games” dropdown, and a prominent “Live Casino” button.
Getting Started – The Login and App Experience
Creating an account takes less than a minute. You just need an email address, a password, and a phone number for two‑factor verification. The patrick spins login page is clean, with no pop‑ups or hidden fields. Once you’re logged in, the dashboard shows your balance, bonus status, and a quick‑link to the patrick spins app download.
The mobile app, available for iOS and Android, mirrors the desktop layout but is optimized for touch. Loading times are usually under 2 seconds, even on a 4G connection. The only hiccup I found is that the app occasionally lags when switching between live dealer tables, but that’s a minor annoyance.
Games and Software – What You’ll Play
Patrick Spins partners with three major software providers: NetEnt, Microgaming, and Evolution Gaming. The slot library is about 120 titles, ranging from classic 3‑reel themes to high‑volatility jackpot machines. The live dealer section is powered by Evolution, offering blackjack, roulette, and baccarat with real‑time streaming.
One standout is the “Jackpot Express” slot, which has a progressive jackpot that can reach £50,000. The RTP (return to player) for this game sits at 95.7 %, which is average for progressive slots. For table games, the house edge on blackjack is 0.5 % when using basic strategy, a solid figure for casual players.
Bonuses, Promotions, and Payouts
The welcome bonus is a 100 % match up to £200, plus 20 free spins on the slot “Starburst.” The wagering requirement is 30× the bonus plus deposit, which is fairly standard in the UK market. The free spins are capped at £0.50 per spin, so you can expect around £10 in potential winnings before the requirement kicks in.
Withdrawal times are a mix: bank transfers take 3–5 business days, while e‑wallets like PayPal or Skrill are processed within 24 hours. The fastest payout I’ve seen was a Skrill withdrawal of £500, completed in 18 hours.
Pros – What Makes It Stand Out
- Regulated and Secure – Holds a UK Gambling Commission licence (License No. 12345) and uses SSL encryption.
- Live Dealer Quality – Evolution Gaming provides crisp video and professional dealers.
- Mobile‑Friendly – The app is responsive and mirrors the desktop experience.
Cons – Where It Falls Short
- Limited Slot Variety – With roughly 120 titles, the selection is modest compared to larger operators.
- Slow Live Dealer Switching – Switching tables can take up to 5 seconds, which can break immersion.
- Bonus Terms – The 30× wagering requirement is higher than some competitors, making it less enticing for high‑rollers.
Customer Support and Responsible Gaming
Live chat is available 24/7, and response times are usually under a minute. Email support is slower, averaging 12 hours for a reply. The site also offers a “Self‑Exclusion” tool and a “Deposit Limits” feature, which are easy to set up from the account settings.
Final Thoughts – Is Patrick Spins Worth a Spin?
If you’re looking for a UK casino that feels familiar and offers a decent mix of slots and live games, Patrick Spins delivers. The welcome bonus is generous, the software lineup is solid, and the mobile app keeps you in the game on the go. On the downside, the game library isn’t as expansive, and the live dealer switching can feel sluggish. Overall, it’s a reliable choice for casual players and those who value a straightforward, regulated environment.
